Endorsement Letter for Aaron A. Perry

Candidate for Davis County Sheriff

To Whom It May Concern,

It is my honor to offer my full endorsement of Aaron A. Perry for Davis County Sheriff. Throughout his distinguished career, Aaron has demonstrated unwavering integrity, exceptional leadership, and a deep commitment to public service. His breadth of experience in law enforcement, emergency medical response, tactical operations, corrections leadership, and executive administration, uniquely qualifies him to lead the Davis County Sheriff’s Office into its next chapter.

Aaron’s career reflects more than two decades of hands on service and progressive leadership. From his early years as a Deputy and Paramedic in Davis County to his extensive command experience as Chief Deputy for the Weber County Sheriff’s Office, Aaron has consistently been the person agencies turn to when the stakes are highest. He has managed multimillion-dollar budgets, overseen divisions of more than 200 employees, led critical incidents, navigated complex legal matters, modernized policies and operating procedures, and implemented innovative training and community-focused initiatives.

His leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic stands out as an example of dedication, calm under pressure, and strategic thinking. Aaron worked side-by-side with staff to ensure operational continuity at the Weber County Correctional Facility during unprecedented challenges as his commitment was recognized statewide when he was honored as the Utah Jail Commander of the Year. Aaron’s ability to improve systems, strengthen safety, and advocate for both employees and community members is widely respected by peers throughout Utah.

Aaron’s approach to leadership is grounded in humility and service. Whether responding to frontline emergencies on his own time, supporting deputies in difficult moments, or engaging directly with citizens to understand their concerns, Aaron “leads from the front.” His combination of operational experience, administrative skill, and human centered leadership is precisely what Davis County needs.

Just as importantly, Aaron is a man of character. He is steady, fair, principled, and deeply invested in the well-being of Davis County’s residents, deputies, and future. He brings not only competence, but compassion, experience, and vision.

For these reasons, I am confident that Aaron A. Perry is the right choice for Davis County Sheriff. His proven record, broad expertise, and genuine dedication to public service make him an exceptional candidate. Davis County will be safer, stronger, and better served under his leadership.

I strongly encourage all Davis County voters to support Aaron Perry in this election.

Sincerely,
